Bonus Substack for all — remembering one of the best albums by one of my favourite artists, but it’s more about how I got to it, the classic Record Store Recommendation. This has to be one of the best
Of course I’ve know about Todd Rundgren for years well forever really but today is the first time listening to a whole album. The wonderful Chris Orczy wrote about A Wizard A Star and you about Something/Anything. Listening to them back to back. The dude has everything. Zappa, Randy Newman, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Bob Seger hell drop a 70’s name and it’s there.
One of the LPs that lived on my turntable throughout my high school years. I’d be hard pressed to name a better double album from that era, and we know there were many good ones. I’ve still got an original pressing.

He’s everything. For sure. His 70s run is just sublime. Enjoy!

Great reminder of a great record!
