I really enjoyed Matthew Bannister's book and I'm sure Ian Chapman's is good, but it's sad news that the 33 1/3 series has been captured by academia, much like the indie music scene.
This was going to be my prospectus for my Oceania book. Now I have to make it happen without them

Ah yes, Big Pink, what a great entry into the series that was; what a great album that is!
