I'm so stoked, but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't prefer it to be a career spanning set rather than the one album - but beggars can't be choosers. Sadly I wasn't able to pull off the double-feature of going up to Akl the day before to see Dinosaur Jr as well, but have booked a trip to Sydney at the end of March to see the half-reincarnated Pantera - another band I've been waiting 30 years to see live again! See you in the ageing pit, Simon lol.

Oh pretty keen to catch Mogwai in Wgtn before I go, yep. It will then rival the great 2010 4-night-4-gig run between Wgtn and Akld of: Calexico, Pixies, Lady Gaga and Harry Connick Jr! :)

Nice, but you're being lazy. It should be a 4 day bender of Mogwai, QOTSA, Dino Jr and Bungle. I expect nothing less from you lol.
