A poem about how I don’t like the band Rush but I almost wish I did…
All this machinery making modern music can still be open-hearted...
I have six Rush albums on vinyl and I was under 20 when I bought every one of ‘em. Free to a good home.
I'd take the one with Tom Sawyer :)
Moving Pictures. Excellent condition, hardly played. Got it out a couple of months ago to make sure it was as prissy as I remembered it. All yours Si!
And people say poetry doesn’t work these days!
Quitter! But your poem is good. Keep writing.
I’ve never been able to articulate why I have no interest in Rush when so many seem to. Thanks for doing it for me Simon.
Try harder, just kidding, there's enough music for you to be enthusiastic about.
Agreed, but I have gone back to a lot of bands I ignored at the time and now find I like. Rush just don’t seem to be one of them.
I feel the same.
Go with your first instinct. Rush is an infinitely dull band.
