Today’s fix is Emancipation by Prince.
You know, this comes from deep in the era of Prince giving us way too much, without giving us anywhere near enough. He was busy making his point about, um, I don’t know actually…being a prolific multi-millionaire star with not enough outlets and platforms for all of his offcuts? Anyway, he got a lot of headlines for the wrong reasons and loads of people that were only ever casual fans decided the tedious albums were the worst thing to happen to music…and all without actually listening…
Of course Prince made it hard for all but the biggest of his fans to really care. And who wants to listen to the biggest fans? They’re nutcases. I should know. I was (am) one…
Okay, so listen up…
