I know, right? There was a culture around those events, it might still be there, where people just went, drank, and expected to be entertained for hours by only songs they knew. No interest in artistry, no appreciation for the magic of seeing a then living legend. Really sad, and informative for me as a teen. I grew up there and could not wait to leave for where culture could actually exist outside of the Petri dish.
