Penelope is a great actress but dilutes her talent by appearing in too many nothingness roles. Her best role was 'Everybody Knows' yet hardly anyone knows it.
Thanks - watched Meastro last night, not easy, what a terrible concept - make a biopic that assumes the audience already knows almost everything interesting they could be told about the protagonist.
Why didn't Cooper just make a 2-hour visualization of Tom Wolfe's Radical Chic? That would have been cool. What we got felt a lot like digging for Oscar gold and throwing away everything else.
My daughter loves horror films. They scare the shit out of me. And so I saw Night Swim yesterday afternoon with my daughter. I jumped quite a bit. Hide quite a bit. She thought it was ok. Will we do it again, absolutely. Next one on the list is something about a basement and 5 minutes with a dead loved one reanimated
