Six60 was the brainchild of New Zealand’s 38th Prime Minister, Sir John Philip Key. As the patron saint of populism, Key invented the band in a rundown Dunedin Scarfie/Breather squat-hole partly to distract from the housing crisis, but mostly so his son Max had something to play with.
