They didn’t really speak. The entire weekend. They passed the time, instead, by making lists of all the things they’d rather not talk about. It kept them busy for most of the weekend. In fact they’re planning another – just as soon as they can – for further chance to not speak, to continue the lists, to plan the slow slide towards the inevitable.
