I love The Carpenters. And wonder how someone couldn’t. I mean, I get that there are times when it isn’t the right music, and there are songs that are pretty cringey (not a big fan of Jambalaya or for that matter Top of The World). A Carpenters Greatest Hits though, magic. All up. And yet, that’s fair weather-fan shit, and not the true story. As is always the way. The Greatest Hits is just marketing. The albums are the real story.
