R.I.P. Teenie Hodges

Sad to hear, just now, of the passing of Teenie Hodges. If you don’t instantly know the name you at least know the sound. For Hodges was part of the Hi Records Rhythm Section, a Memphis session player who was crucial to the development of funk and soul music as both lead and rhythm guitarist; as songwriter too.
