R.I.P. Bud Spencer

Reports are in that Bud Spencer has died. He was 86. The Italian actor and director was born Carlo Pedersoli and after a career as a professional swimmer moved into acting. He was a bit-part player through the late 1950s until meeting his action-film partner, Terence Hill (a fellow Italian, born Mario Girotti).
