R.I.P. Bobby Keys

Bobby Keys has died, he was 70. He had been battling cirrhosis – and was not on stage with The Rolling Stones when they played Auckland a couple of weeks ago.

Keys made a trip to New Zealand earlier this year when his side-project, Bobby Keys & The Suffering Bastards honoured their side-show that was scheduled ahead of the postponed Stones date.
