This time last year we launched my second book of poetry, The Richard Poems.
The launch was at the clothing and barber store, That Was Then This Is Now, not only a magical place to get a great haircut or some snazzy threads, but also to launch a book:

We launched the book on Saturday. And it was a great event, lots of people, some sales, some signings, some drinks and nibbles, chats, and reconnections. All of those things. A reading, some speeches, a guest performance.
And I had a ramble too of course:

It was a great afternoon for a special wee book. And now, a year on, I wanted to share the reading above.
