Poem: Yet Another Poem About Anita O'Day
All of my poems are now about
Anita O’Day. They’re also now
about eight lines long. Because Anita
O’Day never sang too long – just enough;
she knew when to call it quits, musically
speaking at least. And if I keep mentioning
her in the poems it will help me to stay
on track.
