Poem: Unfair
A poem for the right (wing) honourable (?) Christopher Luxon as he gets sworn in - and at
I’m not going to get into it all
but what I can say is that I have
everyone’s best interests at heart -
after my own.
And you can protest but it’s early
so I think it’s unfair. Wait another
three years. Then you’ll really
have a whole lot to moan about.
But, also, I’ll have fixeds it - made
everything fair for everyone. Since
we are all the same. No one gets
a hand up. But everyone can wave.
I’ll bite my lip and have a good
go at a smile. I’ll tell you all the
best things I’m planning to do.
Hear me out. Don’t be unfair.
