Poem: Truth # 2

She sung

in an appropriate

key, and

she sounded, well, lovely.

And she spoke the

truths golden; sincere.

And she made it

seem so good. There was

only one problem: the better

the singer’s voice – the

harder it is to believe

what they’re saying.
