There is no meritocracy

complained the old

white guy. If there was, he wouldn’t

be complaining. He wouldn’t bother

explaining that a meritocracy

was never a form of democracy

just another clever marketing trick.

Meritocracies are bought and paid

for by a ruling class, purely so they can

say that there cannot ever be a ruling class.
