I’m out there doing my work, photographing road cones.
No one has recognised it as work, no one is paying me.
But I’m not a quitter, so I keep on turning up.
There’s something very calming about performing a task
that no one requires. The pressure is off, in some senses.
But I’ll never stage a photograph, won’t touch a cone,
will not move anything or manipula…
