Poem: The Privilege of The Pivot to Poetry

I’ve never suffered for my art

that’s all up to you. I’ve just done the

things I want to do  - which is the very definition

of privilege, well, that and being able to go ahead…

In fact being able to go ahead is exactly

the motivation, it’s also the method, the theme

and the overall approach. Valid reasoning, I would

have hoped. But then again I would, right?
