Poem: The Invisible Mire

I dive right into the memory that is not mine

gauzy and strange and gossamer with voices out of range

I try to hear anything that might provide a trigger

eventually all I detect are the sniggers of anyone else stuck inside this place,

facing a life stuck in someone else’s dream.

It seems weirder than you could imagine…
