Poem: The Hook

Sometimes it’s hard to know

what to say, which makes writing a tricky 

Prospect. It’s funny, not making any money - 

struggling to justify time spent, daydreaming

through day-jobs, none of that

matters. The crucial worry is the block.

Running out of  things to say, or

ways to say them. That’s the only

concern in the end. Needing another line.
