Poem: The Glove

He told her not to call it quits – at least, not if the glove

Still fits – to which she laughed…ha ha ha ha. She was too

Young to fall in love – and had stepped in it by unknowing

Mistake. His take was to take all he could and all he could

Take was all that he did. He did indeed love her – and felt

That the glove did still fit, but a still fit means no room …
