Poem: The Cowboy Way

The cowboy came and saw and

conversed

and what he said had profound effect.

Me, never being big on neglect

(I’ve always…I dunno... neglected it?)

looked upon his words with a

frown.  –

Something about when telling the truth, 'always keep one foot in the stirrup'.

And with that he jangled his spurs, and left this town.
