Two of my best friends visited last week.

These two guys stood next to me at my wedding.

They’d been standing next to me for far longer than that far earlier, a lot longer…

But there they were. The best men, the groomsmen.

We live in different cities.

But once a year, at least,

we meet up over too many drinks and not enough movies
