Poem: Sunday

The movie made me sad – but glad, of course, to have seen it.

I didn’t just see it – I heard it, I felt it. Could damn near smell it.

It was everything. And all at once. And that’s why I was filled, after, with a sadness.

The guy on the screen – so difficult, such a pain… I could relate. (He was great!)

And I would never be him – which is both bad and good.
