Poem: Rehearsals

That violin with its stretch, and the drum’s forever heartbeat. The guitar that’s calling, while

a bassline is out searching. That piano probably pondering, as that saxophone is making money.

That keyboard covering up, or it’s the harmonica dumbing down that singer. late.           Again.
