Poem: Nothing Doing

There was nothing to be done – so  he set about 

doing that. Making sure nothing gets done 

is at least as hard as doing anything, harder perhaps

to measure. He chose coffee  cups, broken

dreams and crazy schemes. And waiting... Waiting...like

Tom once said, it’s the hardest part.
