Poem: Meltdown
I melt her down to a dream
that is all she means to me
something to think of so late at night
it seems quite right to me
I melt her down to a dream
surround myself with the thought
action is caught in split- second movements
see her in my rapid mind’s eye, try
to contain her within the spaces of sleep
I melt her down to a dream.
