Poem: Look After # 1

Do you think civilization will ask for an extension on its deadline –

or just roll over, lay down/stay down-styles?

I can imagine it hiding – a blanket over its head, a bowl of its own fumes to breathe in – for the knockout punch.

Meanwhile – the supermarket is advertising super-cheap chickens; let’s get two for lunch!

That’s what the poor people should be …
