Poem: Longing To Dread

the sun takes a longer time to rise than it did a week or so ago,

this you’ll know from several evening’s without sleep

braindead; you’ll wait for yellow fingers to spread evenly, palm down, as they cross the sky, that’s when you can kiss bye to the night                another night                without –

another night all alone
