Poem: Lindsey Buckingham’s Strange Genius
A poem about Lindsey Buckingham, and proving his genius to a skeptical friend
The way ‘Big Love’ curls
under synth lines, and an
electric guitar solo moves
like a creeping vine. A decade
after it had been a hit,
he reworked it for solo,
acoustic guitar. And my
friend, a player, said there
was no way that one man
was making all of that sound.
When I found the first video
footage, I felt like a god.
