Poem: Let’s Just Say

The man with the bottle of milk on the table will soon take it home

and his family will be grateful. They won’t ever know how grateful to be.

He nearly didn’t make it, nearly took another path. I can’t say why, or how

I know. I was only watching him for a minute. A split second later it might

have been very different. Let’s just say he made the right choice.
