Poem: Jockeying

It was good to have a go at reading poems again

first time back on the horse since lockdown.

The horse didn’t like its first lap back around the track

but I whipped it real good for the second ride and it soared over hurdles and enjoyed

a good feedbag at the end. Good to read two poems out at the open-mic after lockdown.
