Poem: (for want of a better title)

one more for the road

a last puff on a smoke

the punch line of a joke

just settle the bill, and

leave a little tip

(like:    always be kind             to your mother)

a final tear that dries 

the style of a Sunday drive 

rather leave than hide

but one more for the road 

the last goodbye in a series

sort’ve like an old Beatles tune;

yes, this bird has flown
