Poem: Driving The Language Home

When someone mentions a thing and tells you, “it’s fine by the way”, maybe they didn’t get the correct attribution or the right amount of attention,

it’s actually a very safe bet that it’s not at all fine.

If it was fine you wouldn’t know that it nearly wasn’t.

Now that you know – you know it definitely isn’t.

The world is a funny place.

And language is weir…
