You only get one chance to make a memory – everything that follows is a memory of that memory, delivered like a series of bad-joke photocopies (constantly lowering the toner!)

So remember that, the next time you’re trying to remember anything – because you’ve been there before, and your shot at total recall is as good – or bad – as anyone’s.
