This poem needs no introduction which I’m only just realising places an enormous amount of pressure on the rest of it. Particularly since the ending isn’t all that much.
So I’m really regretting the bold start – that was incorrect in suggesting an instant familiarity (because what the fuck even is this anyway, right?) and now the end. Disappointing.
