Poem: Digital Loneliness

I visited a friend who told me about the anti-vax crowd, how wrong they were, how sad he was; how strong the connection to doom-scrolling is –

I have my own loops I roller-coast through, stuck and then unstick and then stuck again too.

We weren’t meant to even try to process this much visual information; such stimulus piled to make various breaking points…
