Poem: Choose The Fire You Can Put Out

old Charles reckoned what mattered most was how well you walked through the fire – but I now disagree; I can see what he was saying, sure, weather the storms you must. And there’s such dignity in getting by, you make it through with your head as high as you are able to hold it – but what would matter the most would be measuring the ways you could help.
