Poem: Bloom Where You Are Planted

A poem about gardening…and such.

No use holding out for Utopia.
It’s a world of me-topics when
you watch the news, or gather
views via poll or scroll or I don’t

know…so you need to just be
here now — because that’s
where you are, and when the
moment is. Do your best, and

no one is ever doing that. And
that goes double for the people
who say they are. A lot more time
spent with The Beach Boys’

Lonely Sea. A lot less time with
anything else. That’s what I’d
prescribe. Obviously I’m not a
doctor. Nor much of a gardener.
