A playlist of the sub-30 minute, 11-song set The Beatles repeated throughout NZ on their rather lacklustre tour of the colonies...the one and only time they made it down under.
From time to time I like to make, and share playlists. Today, but only if you’re reading this the day I wrote it of course, is the 60th Anniversary of when The Beatles Came To Town. Town being New Zealand. There’s a brand new book all about it, but it’s $100 and looks dead boring.
The shows weren’t actually up to much — and The Beatles didn’t exactly enjoy themselves. But hey, it’s history. And the same 11-song set was trotted around the country, in and out in about half an hour.
