Playlist: Simone Came For Dinner

From time to time I like to make and share playlists. Here's the latest. Comes with a concept too...

As you know, I like to make and share playlists. A hangover from the long-haul DJ sets I used to do back in the day, playing from 8pm-4am sometimes - in a bar, trying to keep the mood lit but also light. No mean feat, and I loved that challenge. So I’m always “DJing” at home, even just with playlists these days.

So here’s a concept. Our friend Simone came for dinner recently, and I whipped up this tasty set of songs into one big meal. The idea being she could take the playlist home with her. This was just the music that was on in the background, but she’d be able to revisit it - as can you now. It’s a pretty great set of songs I reckon. Put it on shuffle if that’s what you do. Bite it off in chunks if that’s what you do. Or play the whole thing through if that is what you do.
