A playlist of soulful, sad, anxious Brian Wilson songs from across his solo and Beach Boys catalogues

From time to time I like to make and share playlists. I’ve been on a big Beach Boys kick lately, though perhaps in some way or other I’m always on such a trip. I started making this playlist of some of the Brian Wilson songs across his solo career and Beach Boys catalogue where it isn’t just about whether he’s the main singer or even writer, it’s about a ‘mood’ that’s there within some of his songs, the anxiety, the loneliness, the pathos — he does a great sad song, but particularly the awkward/insular guy. So I made a bunch of those into a list-shape. Still working on this. Might add. Might tweak. But though I’d share what I already have:
