Neil Young left Spotify two years ago. He was angry about the platform offering an exclusive deal to Joe Rogan, letting the UFC commentator and alleged comedian spread his misinformation and stoner-ramblings to an enormous audience, and being paid so mightily for the privilege.
Neil Young didn’t need the small amount of extra money Spotify pays him — he’s got money, and other outlets for his music.
