You never (quite) know what you’re going to get when you’re asked to play someone’s private party. I was the DJ for the after-party/wrap-up for Kiwicon 8 – and I was told to maybe bring some 80s tunes, possibly slightly towards metal…but I couldn’t start with metal as I had play from background stuff right through the night – and boy, it was a long haul…
